Zareen Khan has recently embarked on a new role as a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, where she is working on advancing clean energy solutions. Alongside this, she is mentoring early-stage climate tech companies through gener8tor, helping them with their market strategies, growth, and fundraising. Previously, Zareen led the gener8tor Sustainability accelerator and consulted at Khan & Partners, where she focused on impact strategy and policy development. She also played a significant role in expanding COVID-19 testing capacity during her time with the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Zareen’s expertise in clean energy and social impact is highly relevant to Zaawia’s mission of empowering women in Pakistan to enter and reenter the workforce. Her skills in impact investing, public policy, and stakeholder engagement will offer valuable perspectives on creating effective and sustainable programs. Her experience in mentorship and her ability to navigate complex challenges will be crucial in shaping Zaawia’s initiatives and ensuring they meet the needs of the women they aim to support.
